If it does not work just refresh the captcha and try again. Now that you have the radio running start clicking all the ads you can. If you have not upgraded at this point I highly suggest you do because there are probably about 200% more ads than when you are a free member regardless of where you are from. Now after you click all your ads, having your paying radio running, watched all the video ads you can, it is time to start doing surveys.

With surveys the ones that cost the most are the most difficult to earn from but it is always worth a shot to try it. You are more likely to get the ones that are worth less than the ones that are worth a lot. If you are worried about time to I suggest focusing on trying the surveys that are under $0.75 because you will probably complete more than the ones worth $1.30+ in a day making your earning potential higher.

After doing all of this on my best day I believe on my own I earned about $10 and it probably took me maybe an hour or a little more. Just a tip technically you can leave the radio on all day and collect every 10 minutes so per day you can earn a max of $1.44 but that is if you do not sleep ever, so I suggest maybe just earning like $0.20 max a day from that to remain your sanity.

At Varolo you get paid for watching video ads, you can read the full review here. The following post is aimed to provide some tips and tricks which might help you to make the most of Varolo.

Select all channels in the channel guide, on the lower right at the home tab.
Log into Varolo as soon as early as the server starts the new day (midnight GMT, 7pm Eastern Time, 4pm Pacific Time) to get the most ads.
Movie trailers are often available on Sundays or Mondays. Make sure to log in these days as such ads pay the most and are the most fun to watch.
If you can watch the same ad several times, do so. That’s not an error but how the advertiser set up his campaign. You will get paid for every ad you watch.
Use Varolo Velocity to grow your village.

The last tip of the list above probably needs some clarification. Varolo Velocity is Varolo’s achievement cards system. For certain actions at Varolo users get achievement cards which can be redeemed for different rewards including new members to your Varolo village. You can find a list of all qualifying actions in this official Varolo blog post. To make the most of Velocity, you have to maximize the number of cards you get. Here are some tips.

Change your reward settings to charity, on the lower right at the profile tab, at the start of each week. For the first 25 ads you watch, you will get one gray achievement card each 5 ads. After 25 ads, change your setting back to jackpot.
Log in each day of the week to get a blue achievement card.

Earnings without referrals:
Varolo doesn’t have a fixed rate they pay the user for watching the ads but pays 21% of what they get from the advertiser for the individual video. The rate they get from the advertisers differs between countries. In the US they usually get between $0.02 and $0.03. The average rate for an US user is therefore around $0.005 per video watched. However, you can just earn from watching ads yourself for the first month of membership. After the first month your can just earn from your referrals watching the ads.Earnings (including the referral earnings) are credited to your account each Sunday. As long as you don’t have any referrals, you won’t see your weekly earnings until next Sunday. Attention: The current introduction video and the faqs at Varolo are not up to date and don’t include the 21% paid directly to the user for watching the videos.
There are also different numbers of ads available each day depending on your country of residence. Varolos’ goal is to have at least 140 videos a week for every user. However, they just name the following countries as having videos almost each day: USA, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK. Unfortunately, it looks like that even some of them don’t have any ads. At the US each day 30-40 videos are available on average.
Even if your country doesn’t have available ads, you can still earn from the referral program though.

Earnings from referrals:
Varolo has an up to 6 levels deep referral program. You earn 5% of the advertiser’s price of each video your referrals watch regardless which level the referrals are. However, your 5th and 6th level will be unlocked not until your overall numbers of referrals (your village) reach a certain limit (300 for level 5 and 2500 for level 6).
To earn from your referrals, you have actively watch videos yourself. 140 watched videos will give you 100% of your referral earnings that week. If you watch less videos you will earn just a percentage of your referral earnings. However, if you are in a country, where less than 140 videos are available each week, you can still earn 100% of your referral earnings. You just have to log into your Varolo account at least 5 days a week and watch all available videos until you get an “oops, out of ads” message. If you do this, Varolo will set your activity to 100% at the end of the week.

Achievement cards:
Varolo has achievement cards, you get for certain actions. For example you get a gray achievement card for every 20 videos you watch or a orange achievement card for every direct referral you recruit. You can redeem these cards for additional entries into the weekly jackpot or for direct referrals. The later is an interesting feature as it provides users who don’t recruit referrals themselves with an option to get direct referrals.

Referral model:
Varolo changed their referral structure form linear downlines to a matrix model on Dec 16th. With the matrix model referrals will be added not just into your first referral level but also into lower ones. At first, you just have 3 open spots in your first referral level. If these are filled you have 3 spots at your second level under each of your first level referrals making it 9 spots in total for level 2. This goes on with 27 spots in level 3 and 81 spots in level 4. If you recruit a referral into your second level, he will be placed under one of your 1st level referrals giving him a direct referral as well. This also means you can get referrals from your sponsor which makes it an advantage to sign up with an actively recruiting sponsor. After you have filled all your referral spots, you will get another 3 spots in level 1 to start a new matrix.
The overall goal of this new model is to keep more users active as they will get referrals without actually recruiting themselves.

Getting Referrals: Through Forums

Everyone in the PTC and basically the whole paid to industry are always looking for a way to get referrals and get a lot of them and most of them have no clue how to get a referral. The answer is actually really simple and nearly every “Guide” that you see being advertised that promises more referrals in any program says is that you need to advertise your links or spread the news about your links. In fact the only thing those guides do usually is tell you methods that you probably have or could think of without even trying. For example if you go over to the free guide I have on my site for PTC Referral Secrets 2.0 it will tell you to make an ad campaign on a site. Pretty simple right? Well a lot of people excluding myself paid $7 to learn that they could make an ad campaign to get referrals that they had to buy for around $5. So $12 to learn they had to advertise.

Using Forums is one method that actually I would say about 70% or higher do not actually know of, but there are actually forums on the internet where people gather to talk about a common interest, I know amazing isn’t it but its true most people just don’t think about using it. With forums it can be a little tricky, you have to know the right technique and the right places. The technique is pretty simple do not spam and actually use the forum to talk about the topics that are presented. Now wait you went there to promote your site but you go there to not promote? Yep, you go there to build trust first before you promote. The reason is have you ever met anyone new and trusted them with your life, no, you probably wanted to get to know them before that happened. Gaining trust by posting often and being helpful is the best thing you can do. Now to actually get the referrals from the forum, what you do is have what ever you are promoting in your signature. Just a suggestion if you just post the link, do not put the address, put something catchy or attention getting because one this will look better and two you can give them some info at the same time. Getting paid for writing is not a new concept and there are many places that you can get paid to write but you have to go out and find them before you should actually choose one to write for. I did my research and I have found a good site to write for and earn from. Some say its not so good and others love it and thats mainly because well everyone is not going to like everything. After you have all that and you start getting views to your articles, you will want to know how much you will earn. On average you get $0.01 per 10 viewers but can go as low as $0.01 per 3 viewers but those articles have to be REALLY good. One of my articles gets $0.01 per 5 viewers and that one is my favorite, its about Angry Birds. Now those numbers usually are only good if you can actually get those views but to help yourself out you can actually look at your articles and earn from them as explained here.
