I have been earning online for around 8 months and I can say finally that I think I have developed a good process on which to check how good sites are, will be, and how to look for signs of scams. Many people can do very simple things to try and learn how to prevent from being scammed but a lot of people will get scammed and give up on trying to earn online, which to me is pretty sad because earning online is actually really easy.
To start off when you find a new site that says they are a paying site, the very first thing you should do is research a site. You would want to research the site because 99% of the time you are not the first person to use the site and someone could have already written a review about the site that you could read and understand the site a little better. When do your research the best way to search is by being as specific as possible. You should try search items such as “Site name Review,Site name Scam, Site name Payment Proof,or Site name Legit” or any form of those search terms. This would be your best to do because you will get results and you can read and make your own opinion about the site before joining it. Its better to spend 10 minutes researching then 10 minutes being scammed and the reason for that is while researching you will actually learn something and gain more than lose time. Also do not take everyones word, get more than one opinion about a site.
The second thing you should do is check out the actual site. What I mean is make sure links work and see what they say about themselves on the site. If you ever see anything you don’t like or a link does not work stop using the site and see if you can find out if the site is under maintenance or if the site is really down. A good way to find this out fast is find a forum where the site is talked about, I personally use mylot as a way to talk to other users about the site. I use mylot because one the users are very active and two you get paid for basically posting and discussing what you want to find out. Now back to the topic, if you find the site is working and looks good you should read over the ways to earn on the site. If you do not read that you could miss out on the site saying it will not pay or something very obvious. On a Paid to click site if the clicks are $0.01 and the ad prices are 100 clicks for $3 then something is obviously wrong because that is not the right equivalent. Another thing to look for but not always needed is a forum. Forums on a site are a good way to tell that the site is meaning business because users will post their thoughts and payment proofs. Now for me the site does not always need to have a forum because of the two forums I posted above. The main idea is that you get into a forum and talk with other users.
Finally how to tell a site is scam. If you have been following the steps so far you should be on the right track and if anything odd came up you should have found a scam. To find a scam in some sites the earning methods or rates are either too high for the activity, like in Paid To Click the standard is a max of $0.01 for free members, any higher and it raises a lot of questions of whether the site is legit. Reason being is higher the rates the more likely the site will not be able to sustain itself and crash. There are some sites that do offer a higher amount but this is because advertisers paid for them. As long as how to advertise on the site is around the right range for how much you can earn on the site then you are good. Another way to check if a site is scam is by actually using the site and finding out first hand. Many users do not like to go through this experience and I do not really either but sometimes the best thing to do is find out on your own. By doing this you can develop a process like mine to check a site so that you do not repeat results.
After doing all that was said above you should have found a good site that is worth your time and will help you earn online. If you would like me to check a site for you feel free to leave the site below in the comments and I will check the site for you. Good luck with earning online and may your earnings be great. Thanks for reading my guide.
